Corgue LAKEWOOD, Zamboanga del Sur, November 13 – About 50 boat racers participated in the largest pump boat race in Mindanao dubbed "2nd ATM Lakewood Bancarera 2023" at the port of barangay población here. Engr. Aldrik Mirar, the president of the Rotary Club of Pagadian West and organizer of the event, said that the race is one of the highlights of the “Araw ng Lakewood’ celebration that is held every November 11. In a press conference on Monday, November 6, 2023, P/Colonel Dwight Monato, the provincial director said that the cartographic sketch is based on information obtained from witnesses and complemented by CCTV footages recovered by investigators in the vicinity of the crime scene. In the press conference, Mayor Samuel Co revealed that the result of the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Election (BSKE) on October 30 in Pagadian City is not good because of the 54 barangay chairpersons, only 18 who supported him won, while 36 supported his political opponent.
