ZSNHS Alumni Association distribute Christmas gifts to children with special needs in Pagadian City

Corgue PAGADIAN CITY - Around 60 children with special needs in the province received Christmas gifts, stuffed toys, and free food from the Zamboanga del Sur National High School Alumni Association (ZSNHSAA) in the gift-giving activity held recently at Subanen Hall, Provincial Government Center, barangay Dao here. 1st district representative Divina Grace Yu, the president of ZSNHSAA who led the distribution of gifts, admired the parents of children with special needs whom she called   heroes for their unconditional sacrifice in their children who have problems with their physical condition. More FRs in Zamboanga del Sur to be reintegrated in the community, says military officer

By Gideon C. Corgue PAGADIAN CITY, Dec. 22 --- Seven (7) more friends rescued (FRs) are expected to be reintegrated into the community soon. Thus disclosed LtCol. Terence Ylanan, the commanding officer of the 53rd Infantry (Matapat) Battalion, Philippine Army during an interview with the local media. According to Ylanan, there are still seven (7) FRs left now and their legal cases are still being processed in court. "We are helping them through the Legal Cooperation Cluster. We are just waiting for the implementation of the amnesty program of President Marcos, Jr.," Ylanan announced enthusiastically. Nelzin Nino Manese in the press conference held recently at the mayor's office said that the police have tightened their vigilance during the opening ceremony of Paskuhan 2023 to be held at Plaza Luz on December 8. Manese said that the PNP is strictly implementing security measures because of the bomb explosion that happened inside the Dimaporo gym, Mindanao State University (MSU), Marawi City on Dec. 3 where 4 people died, and nearly 50 people were injured.
