City gov’t allocates P20-million to help MSMEs promote their products

Corgue PAGADIAN CITY, August 24- The local government unit (LGU) of Pagadian has allocated P20-million pesos that can be used to purchase machinery to help the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Thus disclosed Mayor Samuel Co during the opening of the Trade Fair and Exhibit sponsored by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) as one of the highlights of the 32nd Mindanao Business Conference (MinBizCon). Co said the P20-million allocated by the city government will help MSMEs in the city to improve their products, especially in labeling their products properly and to develop good packaging to attract more buyers. The local chief executive said that the good and presentable label and packaging will help MSMEs to market their products more easily.
