"Collaboration, synergy driving force in the success of the organization," BFP official says

ZAMBOANGA CITY, August 21- Collaboration and synergy are the driving forces behind the success of organizations.


Thus disclosed Chief Supt. Gilbert Dolot, the Director for Intelligence and Investigation of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) to the officers and stakeholders during the 32nd BFP anniversary at  Garden Orchid Hotel recently.

Dolot said that through synergy and collaboration, the BFP can build a network of support to prepare to face any challenge that arises.


He added that by fostering the culture of teamwork, the organization can harness the collective intelligence and creativity of their employees to achieve extraordinary results.

"By the spirit of innovation, collaboration and dedication together we will continue to build a modern fire service that sets your benchmark ensuring progress, security and peace of mind for our communities," Dolot said.

The BFP official said that education and community engagement are essential components of their mission. We work to educate the public on fire safety, disaster preparedness and the importance of early detection. Through community partnership, we empower individuals with knowledge and for them to become proactive citizens so that they can help protect their homes and families.

"Community partnership is an important factor in advancing the modernization of the BFP. That's why we're doing it, we're capacitating the communities so that we can educate them to help prevent fires in our barangays, workplaces, schools, and in our community," he added.

In our pursuit of progress, Dolot said, the modern fire service fosters strong alliances with their partners. We work alongside with our counterparts in disaster response agencies, non-governmental organizations and private corporations.

The anniversary celebration also featured the awarding ceremony of  16 stakeholders from local government units (LGUs) and non-government organizations (NGOs) for their significant contributions in preventing fires in their areas.



Melchor Coronel, the station manager of the RMN DXPR radio station  thanked the BFP for recognizing the contributions to their agency  in the field of information dissemination.

"I am grateful to the BFP-9 through Chief Supt. Renato Badong Marcial, the regional director in his recognition of RMN DXPR for its significant contributions of their agency by actively supporting their programs and activities and providing a free radio program," Coronel concluded.
