ZAMBOANGA CITY, August 21-
Collaboration and synergy are the driving forces behind the success of
organizations.
Thus disclosed Chief Supt. Gilbert Dolot, the Director for Intelligence and Investigation of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) to the officers and stakeholders during the 32nd BFP anniversary at Garden Orchid Hotel recently.
Dolot said that through
synergy and collaboration, the BFP can build a network of support to prepare to
face any challenge that arises.
He added that by fostering the culture of teamwork, the organization can harness the collective intelligence and creativity of their employees to achieve extraordinary results.
"By the spirit of
innovation, collaboration and dedication together we will continue to build a
modern fire service that sets your benchmark ensuring progress, security and
peace of mind for our communities," Dolot said.
The BFP official said that
education and community engagement are essential components of their mission.
We work to educate the public on fire safety, disaster preparedness and the
importance of early detection. Through community partnership, we empower
individuals with knowledge and for them to become proactive citizens so that
they can help protect their homes and families.
"Community partnership
is an important factor in advancing the modernization of the BFP. That's why
we're doing it, we're capacitating the communities so that we can educate them
to help prevent fires in our barangays, workplaces, schools, and in our
community," he added.
In our pursuit of progress,
Dolot said, the modern fire service fosters strong alliances with their
partners. We work alongside with our counterparts in disaster response
agencies, non-governmental organizations and private corporations.
The anniversary celebration also featured the awarding
ceremony of 16 stakeholders from local
government units (LGUs) and non-government organizations (NGOs) for their
significant contributions in preventing fires in their areas.
"I am grateful to the BFP-9 through Chief Supt. Renato Badong Marcial, the regional director in his recognition of RMN DXPR for its significant contributions of their agency by actively supporting their programs and activities and providing a free radio program," Coronel concluded.
