Over 3K job vacancies up for grabs in Pagadian Kalayaan Jobs Fair 2025

PAGADIAN CITY, JUNE 8 — At least 3,3396 job vacancies are
available during the Kalayaan Job Fair 2025 to be held on June 12 here, the Department of Labor and Employment
(DOLE-9) announced recently.
In a press conference, DOLE-9 Regional Director Albert Gutib said the job fair which will be held at Robinson’s Place, is the agency’s annual commitment to providing a bright future for ZamboSurians through diverse employment opportunities.
The job fair will bring together 14 local
companies/establishments and 8 overseas recruitment agencies, offering 3,396
job vacancies.
"Production workers, micro-finance workers, divers,
service crew, branch officers, sales associates, nursing staff, managers,
branch managers, and promo dicers are among the top 10 job opportunities
offered," Gutib added.
In the daylong job fair, one-stop-shop services will also
be held by national government agencies where various programs and services
will be offered from the following agencies: Phil Health, Pag-IBIG Fund, Social
Security System (SSS), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Department of Foreign
Affairs (DFA), Philippine National Police (PNP), National Bureau of
Investigation (NBI), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and other attached
agencies.
Gutib futher said that DOLE-9 will also feature the
Kadiwa ng Pangulo Fair at Plaza Luz, showcasing a wide variety of local and
fresh products from 16 exhibitors of Zamboanga del Sur which will be managed by
the Department of Agriculture (DA), and to be assisted by the National Food
Authority (NFA) and the local government unit (LGU) of the city.
The Department of Health (DOH) will also conduct a
medical mission by offering free HIV testing and blood typing.
On the same day, the celebration of the World Day Against
Child Labor will be held in the municipalities of Ramon Magsaysay and Aurora in
the province.
Gutib said that 50 child laborers and their parents have
already been identified and will be provided with livelihood assistance through
their program dubbed “Project Angel 3”.
Meanwhile, Gutib urged job seekers to prepare their
documentary requirements which they can obtain from various government
agencies.
“For first-time job seekers, if they acquire clearance
such as certification from government agencies or in barangay, they can get it
