Gov. Yu encourages business leaders, entrepreneurs to embrace digitalization, innovation

PAGADIAN CITY, September  30- Governor Victor Yu encouraged business leaders, entrepreneurs, investors and citizens to embrace the power of digitalization.

In his message delivered by 1st District Board Member Maphilndo Obaob said that the 2024 Zamboanga Peninsula Exposition or ZAMPEX which carries this year's theme "Digitalize, Diversify, Dominate" has always been a beacon of innovation, collaboration that encapsulates the essence of what we envisioned for the future.

Yu said that digitalization in today's rapidly evolving global market is no longer an option but t is a necessity, as this years industries and economies around the world shift towards smarter technologies.

"ZAMPEX recognized that embracing the digital revolution is essential for staying competitive from e-commerce platforms, digital tools are empowering businesses to reach new heights, streamline operations and engaged with customers in Imagine," explained Yu.

The governor added that the "expo offers an opportunity for all of us to learn, explore and apply the digital strategies of our enterprises. while digitalization paves the way, diversification ensures sustainability in a world that is increasingly interconnected.

"Businesses must not only adopt but diversify their offerings to meet the valid demands of the global market. When we diversify, we strengthen the backbone of our economy to ensure resilience in the face of uncertainty," he added.


He also said that the various SMEs not only participated in the event but also dominated in their respective fields. "Harnessing digital information and diversity to build the future where Zamboanga del Sur and the industries we represent are in the forefront of excellence.

"Let us be reminded that the future business lies in our ability to digitalize, diversify and dominate. ZAMPEX 2024 is more than an Expo and it is for our journey into our next era of business," Yu concluded.

On the second day of the event, the Zamboanga del Sur talents showcased the culture of the tri-people of the province --: Muslim, Christians and Lumads.

The 2024 ZAMPEX was held at the KCC Convention Center, KCC Mall de Zamboanga.
