Taiwan college scholarship provide many benefits to ZamboSur students

PAGADIAN CITY, June 24— The passion of students to get a
degree, future academic and career goals can only be achieved by availing
scholarships abroad.
On June 21, over 75 applicants who graduated from high school in the province of Zamboanga del Sur passed the online application administered by the team from Kun Shan University, Taiwan which was held in the city.
Governor Victor Yu in his message said that the advantage
of the scholarship program offered by Kun Shan University is that it is a high
level study in the engineering course.
"If you graduate from a well-known university in
Taiwan, you can easily be accepted in other countries and also here in the
Philippines. So, this is a great opportunity for high school graduates in the
province," Yu explained.
Yu said that the best thing about the scholarship program
is that while the recipient is studying, he is also working in that country.
"After the scholar graduates, he can also be hired
by companies whose salary is the same as the salary that Taiwanese people
receive. So, this is a package for those who have availed of the program,"
Yu added.
Meanwhile, the good governor elucidated that there is no
political intervention in the program because he does not like that the
international scholarship program will be affected.
He added that they have been asking Kun Shan University to implement the scholarship program here in Zamboanga del Sur, and if there is any political intervention, the program will be greatly affected and the trust of the university officials towards them will be completely lost,” Yu concluded.
In the scholarship program, the selection process was
conducted which involved rigorous assessments and interviews to evaluate the
academic potential and personal aspirations of the applicants. (jcc/The
