Collaboration is the cornerstone of the organization's success, says Rotary Club of Pagadian West’s president

PAGADIAN CITY, July
03—"Collaboration is the cornerstone of the organization's success",
said the newly installed president of the Rotary Club of Pagadian West during
the 46th induction and turn over ceremonies held at Guillermo Hotel recently.
In his acceptance speech, Aldrik Mirrar, a businessman was very happy for the trust they gave him and the opportunity to lead an organization that is well known for providing humanitarian service.
In
order to strengthen the organization, Mirrar said that the Rotary Club of
Pagadian West will forge partnerships with local organizations, businesses and
government entities to maximize their impact and extend their reach. "By
working together, we can accomplish our goals," Mirrar added.
Mirrar said that it is important for the members of the club to adapt, innovate to meet the changing needs of our society, saying that “we live in a world that is rapidly involving and facing new challenges and opportunities.”
He
added that the Rotary Club must be at the forefront of this change, leveraging
our skills, resources and networks to address emerging issues and make a long
lasting impact on the people.
The
newly elected president also urged his fellow Rotarians to continue to support and
strengthen the core areas of focus that the Rotary Club has championed for
decades as follows: promoting peace and conflict resolution, providing access
in clean water and sanitation, supporting maternal and child health, improving
basic education and literacy, fostering economic development and enhancing
community well-being.
Mirrar's oath-taking was administered by District Governor Lindon See Diet, the inducting officer and keynote speaker of the event and witnessed by its members.
Mirrar also
administered the oath-taking of his fellow officers and newly elected officers
of the Rotaract Club in Southern Mindanao Colleges, Pagadian City.
The theme of this
year's event is "Create Hope ion the World" (jcc/KBP-Zamboanga del
Sur)
