PHOTO RELEASE| PLANET EARTH MONTH



The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR-9) is celebrating Planet Earth Month this April with the theme "Invest In Our Earth". In the press conference, Ronald Gadot, the Executive Regional Director (RED) said that the celebration of Planet Earth Month is anchored on Proclamation No. 1482 signed by former President Gloria Arroyo on April 10, 2008. Gadot added that under the proclamation, the DENR is mandated to conserve, manage, protect and develop the country's environment and natural resources within the context of sustainable development in order to address the global problem of climate change.
