ZSPPO conducts monitoring fuel stations to prevent hoarding, illegal price manipulation
By Gideon C. Corgue PAGADIAN CITY, March 22 —The Zamboanga del Sur Police Provincial Office (ZSPPO) is conducting daily monitoring of the fuel prices and gasoline station operations in the province. Thus disclosed P/LtCol. Christopher Menodoza, the Deputy Provincial Director for Police Operations during a press conference held at the Governors’ Office recently. Mendoza said that the daily, intensified monitoring of gasoline stations province-wide is being conducted by the ZSPPO in partnership with the provincial, city and municipal governments, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to prevent illegal price manipulation, hoarding, and unreasonable price increases by owners of gasoline stations.
