Provincial Meet features 25 sporting events, 3,000 athletes and coaches
By Gideon C. Corgue PAGADIAN CITY, January 19--- The Provincial Athletic Meet of Zamboanga del Sur was held in Pagdian City from February 17 to 20, 2025 at the Blue Oval in Barangay Dao here. The provincial meet featured 25 sporting events and around 3,000 delegates, coaches, and technical officials from six (6) Quality Learning Circle (QUALCIs). The Provincial School Board chaired by Governor Victor Yu announced that this is yet another occasion that the province-wide sports tournament for student athletes under the Department of Education (DepEd) was held in Pagadian City. Aside from the sports events, the provincial meet also showcased cultural activities for elementary and high school students from 27 competing municipalities in the province.
