Tribal leaders in Lakewood town dismayed when NCIP-9 chief did not show up for dialogue

More than 30 tribal leaders wearing their traditional costumes led by Timuay Lbon Nhilda Mangilay of the Indigenous Political Structure (IPS) arrived at the NCIP regional office to have a dialogue with acting Regional Director Marita Mi ñao to convey their complaints against the management of the agency. Mangilay said that they sent an official letter to Mi ñao in her office to request her to attend the meeting of tribal leaders on May 2, but they were refused because she could not attend on that date so they moved it to May 12, but the said officer still did not attend.
